The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) says Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has received more than 200,000 job applications.

The backstory:

ICE says their mission is to "protect America from the cross-border crime and illegal immigration that threaten national security and public safety."

To fulfill their mission, ICE says they focus on legal and safe immigration enforcement, terrorism prevention, and combating transnational criminal threats.
