The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa awarded a total of $395,000 to four nonprofit organizations at its Celebration of Community event on Friday. They awarded $50,000 to Iowa Legal Aid to help establish five endowed attorney positions to help support Iowans facing housing issues, domestic violence, and income-related legal challenges.
