TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino and Director of Veterans Services Adam Roche joined with dozens of veterans, their families, and elected officials to honor those who have served in the US armed forces on Veterans Day.

Gathered at the Dutchess County War Memorial at the intersection of Raymond Avenue and Main Street in the Town of Poughkeepsie, Serino told attendees that “Today is about saying thank you. Two little words that stand for honor. We honor you. Respect. We respect you. Gratitude, A heart full of gratitude for you all.” Serino also gave a nod to the families of veterans, adding, “We honor not only those who have served but their families left at home, too.”
