Shillong, Nov 12: Chief of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) Winston Tony Lyngdoh today met Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong and submitted a memorandum requesting his intervention for the immediate release of the council’s pending share from minor and major minerals amounting to Rs.50 crore.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Lyngdoh said that Tynsong promised to look into the matter and offered several suggestions for improving fund flow, urging direct coordination with the department’s secretary and joint secretary.
