CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. — Change is coming to the Camden County High School football program, as the search for a new head coach is currently underway.
The district announced that Travis Roland has been relieved of his duties effective immediately.
In a statement from the district, superintendent Dr. Tracolya Green said, "This was a difficult decision, and one that was not made lightly."
The superintendent went on to say, "As a district, our goal is always to do what is best for our students, our schools, and our community."
The district says it will begin the process of selecting a new head coach immediately. They have not announced who will act as the head coach in the interim.
