NORTH CHARLESTON — City police arrested a man and woman in connection with a Dorchester Road shooting that nearly struck a pregnant woman and left her vehicle with bullet holes.
Maurice Deangelo Wilson, 44, and Desiree Latiffany F. Davis, 28, were arrested and charged with attempted murder at a Circle K gas station at 5098 Dorchester Road.
Wilson is accused of shooting several rounds into the red Chevrolet Equinox owned by the mother of his unborn child, according a police report.
Davis is accused of driving the Dodge RAM that Wilson was in during the shooting. She allegedly drove him away from the scene afterward, according to police.
Police responded to a shots fired call around 11 p.m. on Nov. 11 at the Circle K. They first saw the SUV marred by bullet holes on the driver’s side. T
