LANSING — A teenager who died in a Nov. 11 shooting in Lansing has been identified as Daviahn Latham, 18.

Latham was shot about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 2000 block of Georgetown Boulevard, said Lansing police, who released the teen's name on Nov. 12.

Officers arrived to find him with a gunshot wound. Medics rendered aid, but the teen was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Lansing police on Wednesday clarified that a male suspect who was arrested in connection with the incident is 17 years old. They had earlier said he was 19.

Police on Tuesday were working in and around The Arbors at Georgetown Apartments complex. They said they were trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
