The Patriots will head into their Thursday night matchup shorthanded.
On Wednesday, Mike Vrabel’s team ruled out four veteran players and starters: running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe), receiver Kayshon Boutte (hamstring), tight end Austin Hooper (concussion), and linebacker Christian Elliss (hip).
The Patriots also listed running back Terrell Jennings (knee) and defensive tackle Joshua Farmer (ankle) as questionable against the New York Jets.
The biggest question for the Patriots comes at running back as all three players on their 53-man roster were on the injury report to start this week.
Stevenson, 27, started all eight games played for the Patriots this season. He’s rushed for 279 yards to go with three rushing touchdowns. He’s also caught 16 passes for 169 yards. The veter
