The trailer for "The Devil Wears Prada 2" was released on Wednesday, giving fans a sneak peek at the highly anticipated sequel. Advertisement

The teaser begins with Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly, seen walking in a pair of red heels through her fashion magazine's office into an elevator.

She is soon joined by Andy, played by Anne Hathaway, who was the assistant in the beloved 2006 film.

Miranda tells Andy, "Took you long enough," as the two put on black sunglasses.

Other returning cast members for the much-anticipated movie include Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci.

"The Devil Wears Prada 2" will release in theaters on May 1.
