WILKINSBURG, Pa. —

A drug addiction program that has helped hundreds across the Pittsburgh area announced Wednesday that it will close at the end of the month after failing to find a new location.

The building, located just off Penn in Wilkinsburg, is home to UPMC's narcotic addiction treatment program. UPMC Western Behavioral Health said it was informed by the building's owner that it must vacate the property by the end of November.

Despite an extensive search, the behavioral center said it has been unable to secure an alternative location.

"As a result, we have made the difficult decision to close the narcotics addiction treatment program," a UPMC spokesperson told Pittsburgh's Action News 4 in a statement sent o
