CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The Cincinnati City Council’s Public Safety and Governance Committee advanced a curfew ordinance Tuesday that would restrict minors from a two-block area of Corryville where recent violent attacks have been committed by young people.
The ordinance now goes to the full council for a vote Wednesday. If passed, it would cover Short Vine between Daniels and East Corry Streets, an area with a high concentration of businesses that cater to college students.
The curfew would force anyone under 18 not accompanied by an adult off the streets by 9 p.m.
Business owner supports restriction
