THE BRONX, New York (WABC) -- Police are searching for a suspect wanted in a violent gunpoint robbery spree that has taken place across Manhattan and the Bronx over the past few months.
There have been 17 incidents since September, and in one case, shots were fired.
The crime spree has involved gunpoint robberies linked to an e-bike riding suspect.
One of the most recent victims was 76-year-old Jorge Medina, a resident in the West Concourse section of the Bronx.
Medina was victim No. 16, and was robbed of $500 on Halloween morning.
"He cut me off. He yelled, 'Give it to me I said, all of it,'" Medina said.
The 76-year-old victim was confronted as he walked from a bank near Yankee Stadium.
