GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - You have the chance to be a part of a virtual fundraising event on Saturday to benefit animal shelters across the country, including in Grand Island.

The Central Nebraska Humane Society is part of the upcoming Jordan’s Way Bowl.

The online event is set to take place on Saturday, November 15 from 5 to 9 p.m. on Facebook live. You can find that on the CNHS Facebook page as well.

Representatives from the Humane Society will be heading to Wichita Falls, Texas for the event.

Two of the executive board members for the nonprofit stopped by Local4 Midday to promote the upcoming event. One of those people being Grand Island Police Chief Kevin Denney.
