HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good Wednesday evening everyone! The big story this week continues to be the incredible surge in temperatures. We’re on a trajectory to Friday, where temperatures are expected to skyrocket, potentially reaching near-record levels across much of the state. It’s going to feel less like mid-November and more like the gentle embrace of early September!

As for this evening, we’re looking at light winds under partly cloudy skies. This might just hinder your viewing of the Northern Lights, which, while still present, aren’t expected to be as bright as last night. Overnight, clouds will continue to increase, leading to a cloudy to mostly cloudy start for your Thursday. Tonight’s lows aren’t terrible, in the low 30s to low 40s.
