BUFFALO, N.Y. — With some federal food assistance still on hold, local groups are stepping up to make sure families don't go hungry. One of those organizations is collecting food and essentials for Buffalo's East Side neighborhoods as the holidays approach.

Clementine Gold Group is an organization based on Buffalo's East Side. They are collecting canned goods, proteins, and everyday essentials for community fridges and high-need pantries in the area.
