COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - This Thursday, November 13, KKTV 11 News is devoting the day to raising money for Care and Share, Southern Colorado’s food bank.

With the government shutdown, and with some Coloradans still not receiving their SNAP benefits, food pantries are seeing much higher demand.

11 News is trying to raise $25,000 for Care and Share on Thursday, and we’ll need your help to do it.

11 News Anchors Adam Atchison and Lindsey Boetsch will be live at Care and Share our entire 4 p.m. hour on Thursday, and we’ll be bringing you live updates from the food bank all day leading up to that newscast, both over the air and on our social media and streaming platforms.
