A weak cold front crossing New Jersey this evening will maintain breezy conditions and below-normal temperatures through Thursday, with northwest wind gusts reaching 25 to 30 mph at times.
The National Weather Service says the frontal passage Wednesday evening will bring little more than a wind shift from west-southwest to northwest, with only a slight chance of brief light rain showers.
Overnight lows will range from the mid-30s inland to lower 40s near the coast.
Thursday will feature partly to mostly cloudy skies with high temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s — several degrees below normal for mid-November. Gusty northwest winds will persist throughout the day before diminishing Thursday night.
