GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Wednesday was a special day for one little girl from Alto. Four-year-old Dahlia Swanson is making history by becoming the very first Little Miss Wheelchair America.

She's living proof that no dream is too big, no matter the size or your wheels.

“My platform is everyone can do it too, not just kiddos. Everyone side by side with a disability or not,” said Dahlia.

At just four years old, Dahlia Swanson is already Little Miss Wheelchair Michigan, and now she’s trading one crown for another, becoming the first-ever Little Miss Wheelchair America.

“I’m expecting more events and more advocating," she said.
