PINEHURST, Texas — A boil water notice has been issued for the City of Pinehurst after a main break on Nov. 12, 2025, according to city officials.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the City of Pinehurst public water system to notify customers in Bayou Bend, Summerset, East Martin, Enchanted Oaks and Camelot Edition to boil their water before use.
Residents are advised to bring water to a rolling boil for at least two minutes before drinking it or using it for cooking, brushing teeth, or washing hands and face. City officials say bottled water may also be used as an alternative.
Children, seniors, and people with weakened immune systems are especially vulnerable to harmful bacteria that could be present in the water.
