ROCKFORD (WREX) — Putting pen to paper is a big moment for a high school athlete. Auburn's Amir Danforth signed his name, committing to play basketball at North Dakota State.

"I'm feeling really good," Danforth said. "I'm really excited over it. This is something I worked for my whole life and I finally get to make it official so I'm blessed."

Danforth had a big crowd on hand to watch the moment. He appreciates all the support through the years.

"It's just so much," Danforth said. "I want to thank my family, my friends, my teammates for everything they've done for me to get where I'm at today. It's been a whole lot of work. Grind, sweat and tears put in so I'm just really excited and really grateful."
