FARGO — One thing is for certain, Wayne Werremeyer is consistent.
For Werremeyer, the best part of advancing to Dakota Bowl isn’t the right to play for a state championship. Rather, it’s the fact that his Fargo Davies football team gets to spend one more week together.
That was the messaging of the Eagles head coach after his team advanced to last season’s Division 3A state title game against West Fargo Sheyenne — one more week together.
For the second year in a row, Davies will play the full extent of the high school football season and get another seven days when the team kicks off against Bismarck Century at Dakota Bowl XXXIII on Friday, Nov. 14, at 6:40 p.m. at the Fargodome.
