Human remains discovered Aroostook County last month have been identified, Maine State Police said Wednesday.
The human remains found in Blaine on Oct. 30 were identified as 36-year-old Tomis Hoyt of the Presque Isle area, according to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner.
The cause and manner of death are still under investigation, and the case remains active, according to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss.
No further information was immediately available.
