BRISTOL, Conn. (WFSB) - A man is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Bristol.

The crash occurred this evening in the area of Pine Street and Riverside Ext.

Lifestar responded due to the severity of the victim’s injuries.

Police say the driver remained on scene and is cooperating. They are asking drivers to avoid the area while they investigate.
