BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - A major crash has shut down the intersection of North Harvey Mitchell Parkway and Leonard Road in Bryan on Wednesday afternoon.

KBTX was alerted to the crash shortly before 4:30 p.m.

The Bryan Police Department and the Bryan Fire Department are both on the scene of the crash.

Photos shared with KBTX show multiple vehicles involved.

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area or find an alternate route.

Officials say the intersection will remain closed while the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
