EUGENE, Ore-- Oregon football continues to trend upwards as the 2025 regular season draw closer to a close. On Tuesday, the Ducks moved up one spot to No. 8 in the second release of the College Football Playoff rankings.

Oregon (8-1, 5-1 Big Ten) is currently coming off a last second road win over now No. 21 Iowa, which was number 20 a week ago.

In the Big Ten Conference three teams, including Oregon, hold Top-10 spots in the latest poll. No. 1 Ohio State and No. 2 Indiana hold the top two spots with Oregon shortly behind.

According to Oregon Athletics, the Ducks have made 13 consecutive appearances in the CFP top 10 dating back to 2023, and 26 straight appearances in the CFP top 25 dating back to 2020.
