ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. —

Wednesday morning, about two dozen sixth- and seventh-graders at Saint James Catholic School took on the persona of different saints during the school’s Living Wax Museum.

Among them, portraying Saint Gianna Beretta Molla, was sixth-grader Gianna Savanah Garcia, who found out only recently that she has a little in common with the Catholic saint of doctors, mothers, and the unborn.

"[I want to be a doctor because] I want to be able to help mothers, children, and people who have cancer," Garcia said.

The Living Wax Museum is part of an assignment for a theology class taught by Sister Maria Grace, who thinks part of her assignment is learning about the strength of faith in seemingly normal people.
