DESOTO COUNTY, Miss. (WMC) - Convicted child sex offender Lindsey Whiteside is back in custody.
Whiteside’s bond decision was reversed Wednesday and she was taken back into custody by US Marshals pending her federal trial.
This comes two weeks after Federal Magistrate Judge Jane Virden ruled to allow house incarceration for Whiteside as she waits for a federal trial for federal charges.
Whiteside, a former youth pastor and basketball coach in DeSoto County, has been out of jail since October 31 and has been living at her mother’s house.
Last month, Whiteside pleaded not guilty to federal charges of transporting a minor across state lines for sexual purposes.
Whiteside was indicted late last year on felony sexual battery of a minor. Following the guilty plea, a judge sentenced
