Srinagar, Nov 12: Director Agriculture Kashmir, Sartaj Ahmad Shah today flagged off a group of progressive farmers for an exposure visit to outside the Valley under the Promotion of Floriculture Project.

According to a statement issued here, the visit aimed to acquaint the participating farmers with the latest technologies, best practices, and market linkages in the field of commercial floriculture.

Speaking on the occasion, the Director Agriculture emphasized the importance of floriculture as an emerging sector with immense potential for employment generation and income enhancement.
