After months of restoration, the historic Fireman’s Fountain has returned to its place at the Hamilton County Courthouse, once again standing as a proud symbol of courage, service, and community heritage, the Hamilton County Parks & Recreation Department announced Wednesday.
The memorial fountain is in honor of William Peak and Henry Iler, who died in the Bee Hive Store fire of 1886.
Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp was pictured at the newly restored fountain.
