Indian Railways is gearing up to introduce a new sleeper version of the Vande Bharat Express. Developed by BEML (Bharat Earth Movers Limited) using ICF (Integral Coach Factory) technology, the train is designed to make long-distance journeys convenient and relaxing. Ahead of its official launch, the indigenously manufactured Vande Bharat sleeper train has achieved a new milestone.
In a viral clip, the sleeper train has clocked a top speed of 180 kilometres per hour (KPH) during its recent trial run. The clip also showcased the train’s remarkable stability with three glasses of water.
Despite running at a constant speed of 180 kmph, the water-filled glasses placed on the dashboard remained perfectly still. Not even a drop of water spilled out of the glasses.
