LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - A mother and daughter were both arrested after getting into a fight with each other.

Officers responded to a call Nov. 9 about the altercation. The women have been identified as 43-year-old Elizabeth Esparza and 22-year-old Alyssa Estrada.

According to police, Esparza began damaging Estrada’s car by breaking the windshield and slashing two tires on the driver’s side and smashed her iPhone.

Police say Estrada allegedly admitted to assaulting her mother.

Estrada was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily injury to a family member. Esparza was arrested on criminal mischief charges.
