FLANDREAU, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The Moody County Boys & Girls Club, in partnership with Groundworks Connect, announced a brand new initiative on Wednesday.
The Teaching Gardens is a hands-on project that will engage youth, families, and community members in the shared experience of planting, growing, and learning together.
The gardens will serve as outdoor classrooms where students can explore lessons in science, nutrition, sustainability, and the importance of community connection, all while growing fresh, healthy food.
