FARGO — A story of strength and gratitude is unfolding for a Fargo family.
Fargo Shanley graduate Boden “Bo” Meier suffered a life-changing injury in early May, a brain bleed in a golf cart accident.
The 20-year-old and his parents have been out of state for the last six months to receive proper care, but their long-awaited homecoming was Wednesday, Nov. 12.
The family says they’ve been guided by faith throughout a harrowing journey.
Chris Meier, Bo’s dad, said, “It’s painfully slow, but there are no limits. Bo’s a winner. Bo is a competitor. Bo is fighting every day. I can see it.”
After six months of intense care, and more to come, Bo Meier is back home in Fargo.
The family asked for Bo not to be on camera as he settles in, but they’re grateful just to have that choice.
