A wedding celebration in Maharashtra turned into a night of horror on Tuesday when a man suddenly attacked the groom on stage with a knife. The entire incident, which unfolded amidst celebrations in Amravati, was captured on CCTV cameras - exclusive footage now accessed by Aaj Tak/India Today.

According to police, the attack occurred around 9:30 pm during the wedding ceremony of 22-year-old Sujal Ram Samudra.

The footage shows the bride and groom standing on stage when the accused, identified as Ragho Jitendra Bakshi, calmly approaches and suddenly lunges at the groom, stabbing him multiple times with a metal knife. People standing on the stage panicked and immediately tried to catch the attacker, with one man running after him. However, the attacker succeeded in fleeing.
