LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Inside Little Rock Christian Academy along Highway 10, there was a packed gym buzzing with excitement as four student-athletes signed their letters of intent on National Signing Day.
However, one name that stood out among the crowd was Jashawn “JJ” Andrews.
On Wednesday, the 2024–25 Gatorade Player of the Year and the No. 1 basketball player in Arkansas officially signed to play for the Arkansas Razorbacks, which was a moment years in the making.
“All the hard work, all the times, going to the gym and sacrificing family time, friend time. This year, he sacrificed going to homecoming to fulfill his dream, to try to make the USA basketball team.
