EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Evansville Police Department says a man was arrested Wednesday with over 100 grams of fentanyl and meth after he ran from police on a moped.
Officials say an officer saw a man driving a white moped without a license plate on E Oregon Street and North Garvin Street.
They say the officer followed him into an alleyway where the man crashed the moped and ran.
According to the affidavit, the man was later found and arrested in the backyards of homes in the 600 block of E Maryland Street.
Police say the man was 38-year-old Johnny Detalente who had an active felony warrant.
They say Detalente had over $2,500 in his pocket, as well as 101.4 grams of fentanyl and 33.7 grams of meth in plastic baggies. He also had a 3.6 grams of marijuana.
