Renewable energy company Renew has announced an investment of ₹82,000 crore in Andhra Pradesh.
Announcing this ahead of the two-day CII partnership summit which is beginning tomorrow, in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh IT and Industries Minister Nara Lokesh has said that Renew would invest in the high technology areas of solar ingot, wafer manufacturing, down to project development and onwards to green hydrogen and molecules.
“After 5 years out of AP, the company is placing an all-in investment on the entire renewable energy value chain in the State,” he said in a post on ‘X’.
Meanwhile, the State government has signed an agreement with Tillman Global Holdings for the establishment of a ₹15,000-crore 300-MW hyperscale data center campus in Visakhapatnam.
