LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Britt Prince, Calin Hake, and Jess Petrie all scored in double figures to lift Nebraska to an 84-50 win over in-state rival Creighton. The Huskers controlled the game from the start by making their first five field-goal attempts. The Bluejays, meanwhile, struggle dfrom the floor and made only four shots in the first half.
Prince finished with a game-high 18 points, while grabbing seven rebounds.
Nebraska’s offensive performance was highlighted by Petrie’s 60-foot buzzer-beater at the end of the first quarter. The improbable shot prompted an on-court celebration along with fans rising to their feet.
Nebraska entered Tuesday’s match-up on a three-game skid against Creighton.
