SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – A recent building permit has garnered the attention of the community as it indicates that the popular grocery store chain Trader Joe’s might be developing a new location in Spokane Valley.

On Wednesday evening, the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce shared the following statement:

“Records show a commercial tenant improvement permit has been submitted with the City Of Spokane Valley connecting the popular grocer [Trader Joe’s] to the vacant retail location at 13414 E. Sprague Ave, which was the former location of ShopKo.”
