The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday, 12 November, arrested a sub-inspector and his driver from Mulugu police station in Siddipet Commissionerate for demanding and accepting a Rs 50,000 bribe.
Sub-Inspector Ch. Vijay Kumar and police constable (Armed Reserve) Raju allegedly solicited the money from a complainant in exchange for official assistance with the eviction of a residential property owned by the complainant’s elder sister, reported The Hindu .
