SRINAGAR : Police in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district carried out a series of preventive operations across multiple locations on Thursday, aiming to strengthen internal security, preempt potential threats, and maintain public order, officials said. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

According to police, the district-wide operations targeted subversive and law-defying elements while ensuring civic stability and public confidence. During the drives, six individuals linked with subversive networks were brought to police stations and bound down under law. Searches were conducted at 22 properties associated with over-ground workers (OGWs), resulting in 20 OGWs being bound down and two sent to jail under preventive detention.
