YouTube filmmaker David Burnip experienced both extremes during his tour of the worst-reviewed services in the north of England – from a "middle-class haven" to a rest stop that felt like "the apocalypse has already begun".

David's journey began at the highly-rated Tebay Services Farmshop and Kitchen on the M6 in Cumbria. He praised it for offering "proper food," on his Wandering Turnip YouTube channel, "not Burger King or KFC, but food that has soul".
