A person was taken to hospital following a three-vehicle crash on the M8 in Paisley .
Emergency services were called to the scene on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 27 and 28 shortly after 7am on Thursday, November 13 following the collision .
Paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service attended the scene and one person has been taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment. Their condition is currently unknown.
Numerous police vehicles as well as an ambulance and fire appliances were spotted on scene as they responded to the collision.

Traffic Scotland reported that lane three was blocked as a result of the collision between Arkleston and Glasgow Airport and that delays were expected.
