New Delhi : After the completion of the second and final phase of the Bihar Assembly elections on November 22, the Election Commission is scheduled to announce the polling results on Friday this week. The strongrooms holding the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) at all 46 counting centres will open at 8 am for the counting process. Given the sensitive political atmosphere in the state, stringent security protocols have been put in place to ensure safety.

The arrangement includes Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) guarding the inner cordon, state police securing the middle layer, and district police and home guards managing the outer perimeter and approach roads.
