Cruz Allen scored for Wales under-19s last night.

Derby County prospect Cruz Allen came off the bench to score a stunning free-kick as Wales under-19s beat Japan 3-2.

Allen struck a 94th minute winner with a fine strike from distance in a game that had seen Japan come from 2-0 down to level the scores at Denbigh Town's Central Park.

Wales had gone ahead when Joshua Gentles and William Grainger struck, but that lead was wiped out by two goals from the visitors.

But it was left to Allen to seal the win with Wales now preparing to face the USA at the weekend (14:30pm).
