A wanted alleged paedophile has been arrested after nearly two decades on the run - thousands of miles away from home.

Scottsdale Police Department in Scottsdale, Arizona, said Michael Wiseman, a paedophile wanted for multiple charges of sexual exploitation of a minor, had been arrested in France this week. Wiseman was charged with multiple counts and became the department's "number 2 most wanted fugitive" after a case was launched against him in 2008.
