Actor David Duchovny has revealed how his new psychological thriller draws parallels with his own personal life.

Malice is set largely on a picturesque Greek island and follows the affluent Tanner family living their seemingly "perfect" existence.

During a family holiday, their nanny becomes unwell and requires urgent replacement to care for the youngsters, resulting in the appointment of personable "manny" Adam (portrayed by Jack Whitehall).

Accommodating and well-mannered, Adam seamlessly integrates into the Tanner household's routine, though it gradually emerges that he harbours a grudge against family head Jamie Tanner (portrayed by David Duchovny).
