A prison officer has been warned she could face years in prison after engaging in sexual activities with an inmate in a jail's prayer room. Isabelle Dale, 23, was caught in the act with Shahid Sharif, 33, at HMP Coldingley in Surrey. The incident occurred while two other inmates acted as lookouts. Dale was seen leaving the prayer room just four minutes after entering, appearing to adjust her belt. The court heard that she had developed a romantic relationship with Sharif, who is a convicted robber. Evidence presented included a tattoo of Sharif's nickname, 'Sneaks', on the back of her neck, and a framed photograph of the couple displayed in her living quarters. In addition to her relationship with Sharif, Dale was also involved with another inmate, Connor Money, 28, at the same time. She referred to herself as 'Miss Sneaky' in connection with her relationships. Dale sobbed in court as she was informed of the serious consequences she faces for her actions, which have raised significant concerns about security and conduct within the prison system.
