Former India captain Rohit Sharma has confirmed his availability for Mumbai in the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy, responding to the BCCI’s recent directive that senior players must feature in domestic cricket to remain eligible for national selection and the 2027 ODI World Cup.
According to The Indian Express, Rohit informed the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) that he will join the squad for their campaign beginning December 24, the only domestic one-day window between India’s ODI series against South Africa (December 3–9) and New Zealand (from January 11).
