A Warwickshire man who carried out botched building jobs has been jailed. Kristien Hunt scammed his victims out of £100,000.
Hunt had been carrying out the dodgy jobs conspiracy with Steven Fidler. Homeowners across the Midlands had hired the pair between November 2019 and December 2021.
Victims paid Fidler and Hunt a total of £100,000 for various building and decorating jobs. But they were then either not completed or finished to an unsatisfactory standard.
When the victims complained, Fidler and Hunt vanished. Police found that the dodgy duo often took on several projects at a time and gave excuses about why they were unable to complete the jobs.
Hunt, from Studley, and Fidler, from Hockley Heath, were recently convicted at Warwick Crown Court . Fidler was jailed for six years in
